New shoes!

I just bought these super cute shoes at Macy's for only $14.75~

They came in this simple black and red box...

Aaand this is what they look like!

And they even had this adorable little "G" on the buckle!

Nail Art

Since I am a HUGE fan of gyaru, I naturally have been interested in nail art. But all those gem-embedded patterns seemed way too difficult for a makeup and nail polish noob like me. I never really tried to do anything more complicated than a French manicure (which ended up kiiiinda globby and unattractive) for my fear of totally messing it up. But when I went to Vietnam to visit my cousins, they really inspired and amazed me. Their nail art was very impressive and I never see anyone in America doing nail art quite like theirs. I am now totally open to nail art and willing to try. So here's some pictures of my nail art. (:

Okay, so this isn't nail art, but I thought this color was really pretty and girly. It's Set in Stone (180) in Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Collection.

Since I'm such a nerd, I had to make a pokeball and great ball nail art...it turned out pretty good,no? (Come on you Pokemon fans. I know you're jealous)

And a very patriotic nail...one month late for Independence Day...

And all three of them together. I really like the red, white and blue theme.

Well, obviously, I am still a terrible noob at nail art, but I really hope to improve! So anyone have any tips for me about nail art or even painting nails in general?

Introduction to Bullet Rose

Getting To Know Me:
Well, I'm basically your average teenage girl that is interested in everything she's not. A below average girl trying to make herself beautiful.

I was born in the cold and frosty Minnesota and am still currently living there. I've been blogging since, the middle of sixth grade and have been on and off since then --- This is my first real try at being a constant and regular blogger about something I'm interested in. I obviously still live with my family --- my parents and my younger sister. And of course, I go to school like any regular teenager.



What does Bullet Rose mean?
Honestly, I have no clue. I kind of just thought of two words I thought sounded good together. It was hard picking one out because I thought of a long others too like 'Barricaded Heart' or 'Forbidden Elegance', but I think Bullet Rose fits me best. I'm like a bullet - aiming straight for my goal and never getting distracted by other things and I'm like a rose - trying to be lovely at the same time - while sporting dangerous thorns. I guess it's saying that someone can be both lovely and tough at the same time - they don't have to be just one of those things. And here I am, trying to prove it.

What is Bullet Rose?
This is where I'm going to post things I find cool. Whether it's about me and my life (whether it's school related or fashion related) or a cute video of kittens I found on Youtube or news or things I find out that really shock me. Honestly, I think it's going to be mostly about me and how I try to figure out life and people. Maybe this little blog I'm doing for fun will develop into something more - like a blog based solely on fashion or kittens on Youtube...

This is strictly for fun...nothing else.
